Dear Tired Mom,
Here is an open letter to you. First and foremost, I want you to know that You are doing an amazing job! I know you need to hear that.
Without a doubt, being a parent comes with so many challenging experiences one can possibly face. Whether you are stuck at home with a crying teething baby or a tantrum-throwing toddler or feeling like you never have time to yourself because you work and come home and be with the kids. We all get tired at some point. Then, at the end of the day you start feeling that “mom guilty.”
YES, The “mom guilt” is real.
I feel it too! We feel guilty for yelling at the kids for something so little. Guilty for saying, ‘I’m busy, not right now’ because you were working. Guilty for eating a whole box of pizza because you had a long stressful day. And now all this mom guilt has you up all night and now it affected your sense of self-worth and self-esteem. Now you start asking yourself, do my kids love me? Am I doing enough?
Today, I wanted to type this short sweet open letter to all moms.
To uplift you, to be grateful for every season that you are in. There are seasons for a reason and these challenging experiences will only make us stronger. As I am typing this letter, a bible verse came to mind and I want to share this bible verse with you, For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1. Clearly this is a well-known passage that reminds us that there is a time for everything. Finding Gratitudes in the Midst of Troubled Times

You deserve to be cared for!
To the mom who has a child with disabilities and cry for the injustice…
You are not alone!
To the mom that feels alone, even if she’s surrounded by her loved ones…
You are worthy!
To the hard working mom that feels guilty for not spending time with her kids…
You are enough!
