Skinimalism is the new glow up
It took me so many trails and errors to get my skincare routine down. Taking care of your skin is hard! I was confused with so many skincare products for every skin type. This lead me asking myself, how many products do I have to use? Which ones are right for my skin? In what order should I be applying these products? And what do those products even do? All this can be overwhelming, especially with million skincare products.
I finally got my skincare routine down and I have been wanting to share my routine with you all. I want to share the skin care products I have been using recently and have been noticing amazing results with the new products I have been applying on my face.
Taking care of my skin has been part of my self-care routine. It is very important to keep your skin glowing and in good condition.

Day Time Routine
Step 1: Cleanser
- Washing your face is nonnegotiable (but you already knew that).
In the morning, I start by splashing my face with warm water and depending on my morning, I wash my face with a gentle face cleanser. I have been using Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash Daily Scrub with Salicylic Acid for almost 5 years now. Just love how its an acne-fighting exfoliating facial scrub to cleanse & exfoliate for healthier looking skin.
Step 2: Treatment
- Address your top skin concerns with targeted formulas.
After splashing my face with warm water, the next step is to apply a pore-tight toner. I have a combination of oily and dry skin and have been noticing large open pores. Therefore, I have been using the Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner. This toner is a bestselling gentle, PHA- and BHA-infused watermelon toner that hydrates skin and minimizes the appearance of pores.
Step 3: Moisturizer and Sunscreen
- Lock in all the good stuff with a quenching formula.
- Protect yourself from sun damage—and don’t go a day without it!
Next, I have been using Neutrogena Oil Free Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 Sunscreen & Glycerin for 8+ years. When I love something I like to continue with it. This facial moisturizer SPF 15 has been my daily moisturizer for so long now. It has a lightweight feel and is suitable for use in a regular skincare routine.
Step 4: Eye Cream
- Take your routine to the next level with important extras.
Finally, I have been applying the RoC Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Eye Cream. This product has been amazingly great to hide my Gucci bags. I don’t normally buy or use eye creams because I thought they were just pointless and unnecessary. But after so many sleepless nights with a newborn and teething baby, I noticed my eyes looked very poor. I started using RoC Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Eye Cream and I was pleasantly surprised at the difference this eye cream truly made.
Overall, this is my day time minimal skincare routine that I have been loving and have been looking forward each morning to apply these combination of products that is working best for my skin. Nothing better than having a nice fresh skin using very minimal products!
